Prelims!
Exams which you sit under final exam conditions, based upon the final papers of the past years, and given to you for many reasons:
- So the exam board can have evidence to suggest you can pass, if you happen to fail the final exam
- To get a feel of what the exam will be like
- So you know what you need to revise more (which is more often that not, everything.)
The cheeky buggers make them harder than the actual exams, lull you into a false sense of worry and by the time you’re to sit the final exams, you find it’s actually easier than what some teachers make it out to be.
My point is that I have them in about a month’s time. English. History. Politics. Music. Fuck.
